   IQF Wild Rice

Wild Rice is the seed from a wild marsh grass and has a nutty taste and chewy texture. Various grades and blends are available, and can be used as a gourmet ingredient in soups, stuffing, casseroles, and other products, providing contrast in texture and appearance. 

   IQF Arborio

This short-grain rice is sticky when cooked and has a mild flavor—this  is exactly why Arborio is the perfect rice for risotto.

   IQF White and Brown Long Grain Rice

Ebrofrost North America produces a broad range of long-grain rice products, including plain white, yellow, and rice mixed with oils and spices. By only removing the hulls, brown rice maintains its silver skin and germ bud, which preserves vitamins and nutrients. With its light nutty aroma, it is particularly well suited for healthy dishes and salads. 

   IQF Jasmine

Our Jasmine Rice is imported from Thailand. This aromatic long-grain rice cooks to a soft, slightly clingy texture.

   IQF Basmati

Our Basmati Rice is imported from India. This aromatic long-grain rice elongates when cooked, and has a sweet and delicate flavor.

   IQF Red Rice

Red rice has a sweet and nutty flavor with a more chewy texture than white polished rice.

   IQF Black Rice

Also known as the forbidden rice, has the most antioxidants of all the rice varieties. This rice has a nutty, earthy flavor and a very subtle interior.

   IQF Calrose  

This medium-grain rice was developed and is grown in California. Calrose holds flavor well and is soft and sticks together, making it ideal for preparing sushi.

   IQF Lentils (Red, Green, Brown, and Black)

As an ingredient, the red lentil is ideal for curries and stuffing. The brown lentil has a little more of a mild and earthy flavor, and is delicious blended into soups. Black lentils retain their shape and have a delicate taste. The green lentil has a peppery taste and works well as a warm side dish.

   IQF Quinoa (Red and White)

Quinoa is a flavorful, healthy, and versatile ingredient that dates back to the Incas and is still grown in Bolivia and Peru, and also extends to other countries. The small round grains have a mild taste and a firm, slightly chewy texture. When cooked, the grains sweeten and become translucent with white rings.
